Entertainment Book sale ends next Friday.  $20 each, sell 5 get one free. Advanced Band papers regarding All City Band and entry fees are due no later than Tuesday. Art7th and 8th Grade art students are bringing in supplies and reviewing Elements of Design while practicing drawing skills! 

Band

Band students need to have their instrument and music notebook in class every day starting next Tuesday. Preparation is part of their grade so it’s important to rent the instrument this weekend!

Band Equipment Fees are due to Mrs. Barnes Friday, August 31. If you have not paid yours, please contact her asap (sbarnes3@houstonisd.org) so she can order your book and reeds/valve oil/etc.

Marching Band students should pay Mrs. Barnes for their uniform package asap if they have not already done so.

If you missed the Music Parent Meeting on Thursday, August 30, please email Mrs. Barnes for the information. Parent volunteers are always needed – make sure you fill out the HISD Volunteer Background Check form and turn it in!
