English

Next week, I will be giving students a ‘quiz’ over what work they’ve done, if any, for their book projects.  These projects are due 10.31/11.1

Math

Math students will have a test over Chapter 2 on Thursday and Friday. To be ready for this test they may practice at home using Textbook p. 135-137 Review for Chapter 2 Test. Algebra students are going to start new Carnegie program.  Homework you may check on website

US History

In History, students will be studying the causes of the American Revolution (Ch. 5).

History Fair Process papers are due Monday and Tuesday (10-15/16).

History Fair Final Projects are due Monday October 22.

Science

8th Grade Science & IPC will all be working on the concepts of the Periodic Table and Chemical Reactions.   

Monday October 15, 2007 IPC

-       Electron Configuration Review

-       Bohr Model Review

-       Chemical Reaction,  Chemical Equations, & Compounds

Wednesday October 17, 2007 IPC

-         Chemical Reactions Laboratory

o       The Laboratory has been modified, therefore the children can wear shorts (must have on closed toe shoes). 

Tuesday October 16, 2007 8th Grade Science

-       Bohr Model Review

-       Chemical Reaction,  Chemical Equations, & Compounds 

Thursday October 18, 2007 8th Grade Science

-         Chemical Reactions Laboratory

o       The Laboratory has been modified, therefore the children can wear shorts (must have on closed toe shoes).  

Tutorials:  Monday and Wednesday after school.  If another day is needed feel free to let me know and I will try to make some arrangements.
