Need the story we read in class?
All students received a grade print-out of their report card grade on Friday, 10.5. If these are returned with a signature on M/Tu, they will get a 100.

This week we will read the short story “The Soul of Caliban” and apply literatures terms conflict, plot, climax, and resolution.
Science
8th Grade Science & IPC will all be working on the concepts of the Periodic Table and Chemical Reactions.
Monday October 8, 2007 IPC - Periodic Table Project assignment
o Due October 29, 2007o Not accepted late unless a parent conference is held.
Wednesday October 10, 2007 IPC- Chemical Reactions Laboratory
o Must wear pants (no shorts or capris) and closed in shoes that day.
Tuesday October 9, 2007 8th Grade Science
- Periodic Table Project assignment
o Due October 30, 2007o Not accepted late unless a parent conference is held.
Thursday October 11, 2007 8th Grade Science- Chemical Reactions Laboratory

Tutorials: Monday and Wednesday after school. If another day is needed feel free to let me know and I will try to make some arrangements.
US History
In history, students will begin studying the causes and events leading to the American Revolution (Ch. 4 and 5).
There will be a vocabulary quiz (Ch. 4) on Friday.
Process papers for history fair are due Monday and Tuesday, October 15 and 16.
